Terms and Conditions for Online Payment

This online payment system is offered jointly by Jeppiaar School and Payment Gateway service provider. Jeppiaar School may update these terms from time to time and any changes will be effective immediately on being set out here. Please ensure you are aware of the current terms. The country of domicile for Jeppiaar School is India.

  • Terms & Conditions

    • Please read these terms carefully before using the online payment facility. Using the online payment facility on this website indicates that you accept INNOTYM® terms and conditions and the below terms.

    All payments are subject to the following conditions:

    You are generally required to pay fee in advance. All Fees quoted are in Indian Rupees. The description provided for collection of fee is specific to you (i.e. term & related fees) when you log in with your unique password.

  • Jeppiaar School does not accept liability for a payment not reaching the correct Jeppiaar School account due to your quoting an incorrect account number or incorrect student details. Neither does the School accept liability if payment made through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI or in future any other mode, is refused or declined by the Bank for any reason.
  • If the Bank declines payment Jeppiaar School is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention. You should check independently with your Bank to ensure that payment has been deducted from your account.
  • In no event will Jeppiaar School be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use, inability to use, or the results of use of this site, any websites linked to this site, or the materials or information contained at any or all such sites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages.

  • Refund Policy

    • Refunds, if applicable, at the discretion of Jeppiaar School’s Management, will only be made to the Bank (Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI) account used for the original transaction through which the Fee was paid. For the avoidance of doubt nothing in this Policy shall require Jeppiaar School to refund the Fees (or part thereof) unless such Fees (or part thereof) have previously been paid.

  • In the event there is any claim for/ of charge back by the User for any reason whatsoever, such User shall immediately approach Jeppiaar School with his/ her claim details and claim refund from Jeppiaar School alone. Such refund (if any) shall be effected only by Jeppiaar School by means as school deems appropriate. No claims for refund/ charge back shall be made by any User to the Payment Service Provider(s) and in the event such claim is made it shall not be entertained.
  • In these Terms and Conditions, the term Charge Back shall mean, approved and settled credit card or net banking purchase transaction(s) which are at any time refused, debited or charged back to merchant account (and shall also include similar debits to Payment Service Provider’s accounts, if any) by the acquiring bank or credit card company for any reason whatsoever, together with the bank fees, penalties and other charges incidental thereto.
  • Server Slow Down/Session Timeout: In case the Website or Payment Service Providers webpage, that is linked to the Website, is experiencing any server related issues like slow down or failure or session timeout, the User shall, before initiating the second payment, check whether his/her Bank Account has been debited or not and accordingly resort to one of the following options:

    • (i) In case the Bank Account appears to be debited, ensure that he/ she does not make the payment twice and immediately thereafter contact Jeppiaar School via e-mail or any other mode of contact as provided by Jeppiaar School to confirm payment.

    (ii) In case the Bank Account is not debited, the User may initiate a fresh transaction to make payment.

    (iii) However, the User agrees that under no circumstances the Payment Gateway Service Provider shall be held responsible for such fraudulent/duplicate transactions and hence no claims should be raised to Payment Gateway Service Provider.

  • Privacy Policy

    • This Privacy Policy applies to all the fees and related payments offered by Jeppiaar School.

    Jeppiaar School respects and protects the privacy of the individuals that access the information and use the services provided through them. Individually identifiable information about the User is not willfully disclosed to any third party without first receiving the User’s permission, as covered in this Privacy Policy.

    This Privacy Policy describes Jeppiaar School treatment of personally identifiable information that Jeppiaar School collects when User is on the Jeppiaar School website. Jeppiaar School does not collect any unique information about the User (such as User’s name, email address, age, gender etc.) except when the User specifically and knowingly provide such information on the Website. Like any business interested in offering the highest quality of service to clients, Jeppiaar School may, from time to time, send email and other communication to the User, tell them about the various services, features, functionality and content offered by Jeppiaar School website or seek voluntary information from you.

    Please be aware, however, that Jeppiaar School will release specific personal information about the User if required to do so in the following circumstances:

  • In order to comply with any valid legal process such as a search warrant, or court order, or any other judicial scrutiny.

  • Payment Gateway Charges

    • The Payment Gateway charges to be collected from the Parent (person paying the fee), in addition to the School fee as per various payment methods.

    Terms of Payment:

    (1) The transaction-processing fee is based on the current level of interchange/clearing house charges/Participating Bank charges. Any additional charges levied by these entities now or any time in future for processing of such transactions or on account of failed transactions etc. will be charged to Parent (person paying the fee) in addition to the above mentioned transaction processing fee.

    (2) In respect of any failed transactions of any Parent (person paying the fee), processed through this service, the transaction failure charges payable if any to the Participating Banks, in respect of the failed transactions shall be charged additionally.
